"Oh sorry," she laughed, smiling at his sweetness. "I'm Megan Jones. I guess I should've said that. I guess I just think everyone knows everyone and remembers their names like I do. It's a gift and a curse sometimes."
Megan knew she shouldn't be having weird freak out moments in strange places, but with the attack at the school, she didn't feel safe going back to her favourite spot by the lake. She was sure if she even mentioned going back there, her mates would have a proper fit about it.
"I guess this is the only time I've given myself to shed a tear after the hall blew up," she said after a moment of thought. "I've been trying like hell to keep myself busy so I don't dwell on it."
