Finn had promised to help his mum tend the pub that evening, even if it was the last thing on earth he wanted to do. But at the end of the day, it was the family business, and he couldn't help but want to ease some of the stress on his mother, especially after she had lost her magic. So instead of complaining, he did what was asked. He took drink orders, served food, but for the most part he cleaned up after the patrons. He had spent the last fifteen minutes cleaning down tables, setting them up again for new customers, and went back to the bar to grab a drink of water before heading back out again, towel over his shoulder.
Nodding to some of his classmates he made his way to a booth, thinking that it wasn't even in use until he noticed a girl sitting in it. She clearly looked upset, and had barely touched her drink, and being the kind gentleman that he wanted to pretend he was, Finn walked up to her, asking if she wanted anything to eat. But when he didn't receive a response he frowned. "Are you okay?" he said, still staring at her, and still no response.
"Miss?" he couldn't remember her name for the life of him, and he felt bad about that, but really he was more concerned at what was wrong. After all, she wasn't responding. Reaching out then he gently touched her, which finally seemed to get a response.
"Uhm... hey... just wondering if you were doing alright. If you need anything else..." he trailed off still looking at her. "You seem upset. If you want to be left alone I totally get it, but... just wanted to make sure you were okay at the very least."
