He'd heard the explosion. At first, he wasn't sure where it had come from, but as he floated towards it, there was no mistaking it. It looked like something out of an old newsreel of the bloody Blitz by the time he saw it. He felt like he should have been able to find the culprit, but he didn't know how. So he'd paced through the husk of one of the places he'd spent a good portion of his adult life.
Time was a little less meaningful to him, all things considered. It might have just happened. It might have been weeks ago. He couldn't tell. What he could tell was that there was someone else there, someone who was radiating a similar shade of fury as he was.
