Harold felt weirdly like he had less freedom in the village. It wasn't that they couldn't really leave, but more than he didn't know his way around quite as well as in Hogwarts. At Hogwarts he could've slipped between corridors and secret passages. He could nick things from common rooms with ease, and people actually wanted to buy things from him because they weren't able to just go down to the shops themselves!
None of that in Hogsmeade. It was rather boring for an entrepreneur such as him. Harold mooched through the stacks at the bookshop, bored and certain there was going to be nothing in there that caught his eye. He turned a corner and found himself face to face with a girl. Instantly he recognised her, though he couldn't remember her name. Slytherin girl...
"Astoria!" He said triumphantly as it popped onto the tip of his tongue, only to realise he'd pretty much just walked up to her and yelled her name. He quickly threw on a winning smile and leaned casually against the shelf, "You look nice today! Reading something exciting?"
