Pansy hadn’t even realized that she had been holding her breath until Neville stepped into the light. There was a part of her, a part she actively hid, that was relieved it was Neville Longbottom. Not because she had any desire to deal with him, of course, but because at least she knew Longbottom was hardly about to attack her. She let out a sigh.
“Longbottom, why are you out by yourself?” She asked, “It’s almost curfew, and you’re not supposed to be walking around without another person unless you absolutely have to. Go to your residence.” Pansy should take points, but honestly, what was the point? House points were irrelevant when you aren’t even staying in the castle.
