Penny smiled. She was willing to let anyone feel her baby moving if they wanted to. Because she was stoked about making an actual person. A real person that was wriggling and growing and everything. She wanted Rose to feel it, too. Something to look forward to on top of all of the other rather terrifying things pregnancy brought.
"There's no reason you can't do things you wanted to do," Penny replied, her hands resting on her belly. "You'll- yeah, you'll just have to do things differently. In a different order, maybe. I didn't have a lot of plans but, well, this is the extent of my living space so I guess I'm going to have to either look for another place to move or talk to my landlord and see if I can get a deal on the flat above. But I don't make a lot so-" She wasn't that worried about it. She had support from Benjy, she had it from Charlie, she knew she wasn't going to be alone and needing things.
"Nicknames are useful. We go through a whole lot of them, but now we know it's a boy, I suppose we need to start talking about actual names. I don't know what Charlie wants, and I know Benjy, he's my boyfriend, I know he won't want to step on any toes, but I don't want to name him something Benjy hates, you know?"
She smiled softly at Rose' compliment. "Oh, you're welcome, you're welcome to come over here whenever you want. I'm right here, and if I'm not you can just message me and-" Penny paused, moving her hand lower on her stomach. "Give me your hand, here," she said, reaching for Rose' hand and placing it where her son was kicking.
