Rose didn't know how to handle what had just happened at Hogwarts. The war had been one thing, but this? An attack completely unsolicited during a time that was supposed to be peaceful? Of course she knew Death Eaters had been around but this... this was a completely new level. At least they were out of there now, and when Jimmy finally found her once she had been seen by a healer, she didn't put up much of a fight when he suggested staying in Hogsmaede.
She had been bent over with her head pressed against the cool stone of the sink when she heard her boyfriend's voice in the other room. Her collarbone had been mended easily enough and the concussion treated with several potions, but Pomfrey still told her to stay awake and take it easy. It would still take a day or so for her head injury to be healed fully, and she still had a pounding headache as proof that it wasn't completely better.
"Yeah... I'll be out in a second!" she called, pulling herself up and looking at herself in the mirror. She looked tired, a bit haunted but at least she was alive. So was Jimmy, that's all that mattered.
Opening the door she gave him a small smile, sliding onto the bed next to him and gently pressing her face into his shoulder. "I'm so glad you're okay," she said quietly, leaning up to press a kiss against his cheek.
