While Benjy had been expecting something regarding some private conversations in the journal, he had been more hoping that the news Dean had for him would be in regards to some of his co-workers or something else of that sort. It was never quite so good with Dean. Which, yeah, he was thankful for the kid deciding to come to him with news of what he had seen, but maybe just once the kid would do something different and invite him for breakfast and normal conversations that didn't involve Alecto Carrow and dead things.
Wishful thinking.
Still, Benjy kept an eye on the journals, though he didn't often reply to the students unless they directly asked for him, like Dean had. He knew well enough the things that were going on in the school just from keeping his eyes on the journals. With a sigh, Benjy took a step back and leaned against the wall behind him, running his fingers through his hair.
"Can you show me the conversation? Maybe it's your journal's magic that got messed up somehow and you can read the private conversations through there?"
