Dean had been waiting for a good twenty minutes for Benjy to arrive, glancing back into the Great Hall every once in a while. A part him thought he should grab something in the mean time, but thought against it. The moment that he had seen the message from Lestrange to Alecto, his mind raced of who to tell. There was the head of his house, who would more than likely refer back to an auror anyway, plus...Dean barely knew the Professor to be honest. And after scanning the journal for more private conversations (which he still wasn't entirely sure how he was able to see them without making an educated guess of magical mishaps by Michael), a few members of the DMLE seemed less than trustworthy.
However, Benjy never gave that impression off, nor did he come across anything similar. And the fact that he had taken care of the situation that involved his mum still meant something to Dean. Trust was given to that auror, and wasn't easily taken away either.
"Benjy. Hey," he greeted. As always, Dean appreciated that he got down to business, nodding his head in the opposite direction to remove themselves from earshot of those crossing in for breakfast or those who might overhear. "I know that you're not going to believe what I'm going to say at first, but just listen to what I have to say, and I promise you that I can prove it." He looked around before he continued, satisfied that no one was around. "I don't know how, but I can see private conversations in the journals. Rodolphus ordered Alecto to free Bole. She's going to use the imperius curse on someone by the end of the week." There was also that hope that this information could be used to finally capture the monster.
