Sally bit her lip, fighting off the urge to run. She hadn't wanted to hide this from Harold. She had made the decision to deal with however he reacted, and she had to stick by it. Still, after so long going out of her way to hide her back from everyone, knowing that someone was looking at it was freaking her out a little.
She shifted back on her side, facing him. "Its-" Not fine. She couldn't say that. Sally bit her lip again, thinking of what to say. "I just didn't want to have to hide it from you. I probably could have come up with a better way to tell you, but..." But what was a good way to bring that up?
More than anything she wanted to press up against him again, but she wasn't sure of herself now. Their night had been going so perfectly, and now everything in her brain was screaming that he wouldn't want to be with someone so obviously, hideously, damaged.
