Hermione broke off to think it over for a moment, but it was time she could be spending talking to Ernie.
"I was. I was um- we could sit down and look over the things I found about geneology if you'd like or-" Hermione rocked back and forth on her heels. "Maybe we could- we could go to the kitchens and have a cup of tea or something," she shrugged. Going down to the kitchens meant going to see the House Elves and she could see how they were fairing with the new state of the school and the increased guests and if they were-
