“No more than you should have been.” Ernie shot back, “Sides, I’m proud of my house. Hardworkers and loyal and all that.” He smiled at her softly. Ernie had always had a bit of house pride. “I don’t know how you’d do it, but it might be a good place to start.”
“I mean, I don’t have anything to do. Or I could you know I could just like… help you do whatever you’re doing. Honestly, I’d do anything for the rest of the day as long as you were doing it too.” He said with a shrug, and went a bit pink at the unwilling honest admission.
