Vieve took a deep breath and nodded. Slowly, she moved away from the place they'd stopped just moments before. It was far more stiff and awkward than she would have liked -- like she'd completely forgotten any stealth training she'd received.
Her eyes drifted slowly one thestral to the other as she moved closer to Charlie. She could understand, looking at them, that people had used these creatures in images of death. Still, she couldn't help but want to reach out and touch one.
Instead, she reached out for Charlie's arm as she approached him.
"What is in the bucket?" She asked softly, taking her eyes off the animals for a moment to glance at it's contents.
