"Uh-huh. If you say so," he joked right back with a grin of his own. It went without saying that no one put Hermione to shame when it came to school. Dean could tell that Seamus was making an attempt at keeping the conversation light. However, that could only last for so long.
Dean briefly caught Pomfrey out of the corner of his eye, shaking his head lightly as a small smile lingered. "I haven't stopped by in a while, so she's trying to make me jealous by moving on with you." It was his turn to give another nod as the brunette was mentioned, even if it wasn't close to how much he wanted to take care of Lia through Seamus' absence. He could only do so much as she'd let him, knowing that he wasn't who she wanted near her in such a difficult time. "Of course. I know you'd be there for Ginny if it were me. Lia will be loads better now that you're back." It was probably for the best that Seamus didn't know how bad Lia fell during the absence.
There was a slight pause between the next set of words that remained in the forefront of his mind. "Do you want to talk about what happened? If you don't, that's okay. You know that I'm here for you either way."
