Just his simple touch after so many days melted her heart, derailed her thoughts, and she wanted nothing more than to hold him, to take away all of his pain. Seeing him like this hurt her in ways she couldn't explain, but she couldnt help the small bubble of a laugh that erupted from her chest when Seamus asked about her well being. Even when his body was clearly broken and bruised and lying in a hospital bed after being kidnapped, he still worried about her well being. But that was just Seamus. And that was just one of probably a hundred reasons why her heart was his.
"I'm okay now that you're here, Shay," she assured him, leaning forward to press a soft kiss against his mouth when apologies started to spill past his lips. Lia pulled away slightly, looking him in the eyes and shaking her head at him. "No Blondie, don't apologize. You didn't do anything wrong, okay? This isn't on you. I'm just so happy you're back. I knew.. I knew you'd never leave me. You'd come back. After all, we've still got a lot of stuff to do together, right? Once we get out of this damn place? You and me..."
She smiled at him, even though she was exhausted, she wanted to be his strength for once and looking around to make sure Pomfrey wasn't watching her, Lia gently hopped up onto the bed with him, careful not to jostle him. Being small had its advantages and she barely took up any room, which was a good thing since she didn't want him to have to move over and she leaned in close to him, pressing her face close to his neck, breathing him in.
"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want. Ever. But I need to be near you right now. If you want to sleep... do it. You deserve it, okay? I'll be here when you wake up."
