Sally shrugged off Stephen's apology. It wasn't like it was a huge deal or anything, but she bit her lip to resist saying that she was seeing someone. That would just lead to the question of who it was, and really, Sally didn't trust her ability to lie. It was better to just avoid it.. "I don't think he really does. Like you said, they're very self-contained." She hadn't really questioned why Theodore had asked her. They had bumped into each other and found that they got along, and then he asked her to the wedding. It all made sense to her.
