"Don't talk like that Michael," Stephen chided softly, "you will get your magic back. The best witches and wizards in the world are working to find a way to bring it back. They won't fail." He said it with conviction he didn't entirely have, but imagining his friend losing his magic forever was too much to bare.
"That said, learning the muggle way of doing things wouldn't be that bad. I'm not... I've never really done anything without magic. I wouldn't know where to start," Stephen couldn't help but feel embarrassed. It wasn't just the magic, it was the privilege as well that led to Stephen's ignorance of doing things for himself. There had never been a time he couldn't solve an issue with money or a house elf. He shifted where he was sitting, moving a little closer to Michael.
