Shoulders relaxing, Adrian allowed himself a snort at the answer he got. His former housemates could be called many things, but heroic generally wasn't included. Still, he could respect Warrington's willingness to help. Adrian supposed it went the job; working in law enforcement, a witch or wizard had to accept the fact that they'd be exposed to dangerous situations with questionable outcomes. He knew he himself wasn't cut out for such a position. Hence, he'd ended up playing sports for a living until that suddenly wasn't an option. So far, he found he was mostly enjoying teaching and coaching. It was nice to realize he was capable of something more than just piloting a broomstick. His grin hadn't completely faded by the time Cassius asked about his injury; it still didn't disappear, which was a nice change.
"Better than all right, if this morning's any indication." He gestured loosely back at the goalposts he'd been circling. "It's the first time I've been able to do that without using some sort of stabilization charm." Already foregoing the sticking spell that would keep him from falling off the broomstick, this was just another step on the path to playing for the Arrows again. He couldn't wait to tell Angelina about the new development. "Means I might have a chance at getting my old spot back, once this dome is gone. Don't need magic to fly." Not that he'd been feeling the least bit poorly.
