Andrew wasn't used to people giving things out for free out of the kindness of their hearts, especially not drugs. Part of him was suspicious of what she said, not naive enough to believe that this wouldn't create a favour owed, while the part of him that was tired and seeking shelter just wanted to accept it. He was somewhat like a hungry beaten cat, trying to decide if the promise of food was worth the possibility of more abuse.
He heard her out as she went through the list of what she had available, much more expansive than he had expected it to be. He wasn't even sure what non-Muggle drugs were available, so he was more than happy to partake of anything Muggle. He didn't want a stimulant, not with his already difficult anxiety and paranoia, and while he quite liked the hallucinogens they didn't tend to play well with his depression - he'd had an embarassing enough time with hallucinations during his fever and he didn't want to accuse anyone else of trying to sexually assault him just because he forgot where he was.
What he really wanetd was some ketamine, but he'd take heroin or another opiate in it's stead. He wasn't expecting her to pull out something that looked like black tar but maybe not? He'd never seen actual opium before. "I only know from Muggle drugs." he said, his attention clearly drawn to the opium. "I was thinking of ketamine but smack if you didn't have it - not that I thought you'd have it really, but if you have opium.... where did you get that anyway? Sorry, you don't have to answer that, I'm just surprised to see it; I've only ever seen it on the street after it was processed to junk." All he knew about opium was that it wasn't as potent as proper heroin and that it was difficult as fuck to export - he wasn't sure how it was taken or if the effects were the same as heroin or what, but he wasn't so concerned about himself that he wouldn't try it and see what happened. "I can't take that for free though, what's even the street value for that?"
