It was so easy to show Benjy affection. Easier than it had been for a long time with anyone, and Penny was really enjoying it. She was really enjoying the feelings he gave her.
"Well, I think we need to do everything we can to make sure this isn't just another night," she whispered, raking her fingers roughly through his hair a few more times. "Mhm, that sounds perfect! I haven't been down to the kitchen for ages! I love going in there. I bet we'll be able to find some really brilliant things we can take for a bed picnic." The elfs usually handed over a lot of cakes, or sandwiches, or both. They were very generous. Her cheeks had taken on a little flush because, well, she had mentioned his bed, but then he had mentioned his room, so she was only leading on from that. And there were so few places to go where they could have some privacy.
