Oliver & Open
Oliver wasn't sure about the costume he'd picked out, but it was the best he could do. He hoped he at least blinded in with the others at the Halloween party.
As soon as he walked into the Great Hall, he felt better. Everyone else had made an effort to dress up as well, so he felt a little better about his costume.
He'd hardly spoken to Ava since she'd lost her magic, but he wanted to give her time to get used to things. He wasn't about to push her to spend time with him. Besides, he had other things occupying his mind anyway. The death of a student and the attacks were something that weighed on his mind. He didn't want either of those things to happen to anyone he cared about.
Oliver made his way over to the food table and fixed himself a plate. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and forgetting about the past few days and weeks. He helped himself to a drink and started for an empty table.
