Lia & Open
The night and the party had been fun so far. Definitely fun. Probably the most successful birthday thus far, in Lia's opinion, as sad as that was to admit. She woke up to an adorable card and flowers from her boyfriend, spent most of the day in the company of people she liked, and then of course there was alcohol. Her trusty friend alcohol. And even though she was still suffering from lack of sleep over recent events and the nightmares and rush of past memories that came along with it, she was trying her very best not to let it bring her down. At least not right in that moment. There would be plenty of time for dwelling later.
So after spending a great portion of the evening mingling (and she only growled at like... 3 people, she was doing fabulous!), drinking, and snacking here and there, Lia took a moment to lean against the cool stone wall in a shadowy corner of the Great Hall.
Just a small moment to herself, she supposed, and then she could try and be social for a bit longer before trying to pull Seamus away from the festivities for a bit of alone time....
At the very least, she was under the impression she was mostly out of sight in that moment. But that didn't seem to be the case as someone approached her out of the corner of her eye.
