When Harry said that he wasn't feeling it, she just nodded. She knew some people weren't feeling it this year for multiple reasons, the suicide earlier this week just being one of them. Sally felt that she couldn't let all of the bad stuff get in the way of some temporary happiness, no matter how fleeting it was.
As she took her first step outside, she winced slightly as Harry told her why. Of course, how could she have forgotten that? Everyone knew. "Right. That's pretty understandable. Sorry," she replied, sheepishly. Sally fell into silence, out of respect for him and waited for him to lead the way.
