Sally took a bite of a pumpkin pasty while her friend spoke, and quickly swallowed before answering the question. "I dunno, I mean, I had always been nice to him, and all. This summer I hung out with him at Potter's birthday party, and then again on the train here. But, that hardly warrants those kind of dreams, right?"
Sally took another bite of the pasty and chased with some pumpkin juice. What she wouldn't give for some alcohol right now. "I just...I went through so much when I came out. I lost friends. I-" she stopped herself as a her expression darkened a little. Not many people knew everything that happened with her father when she came out. As far as anyone knew, she had only been kicked out. Only Wayne knew that her father had beaten her, leaving her with multiple scars on her back. Sally took another drink and then continued. "I guess I'm just wondering if it was all pointless now. Everything I went through was because I didn't like boys, and now I do. Well, boy. But still!"
