Moviemarvel is a Marvel RPG that is going to be played Most if not all of the movies.
The X-Men have been active but not the only super powered group on the rise. After the events of the Cuban missile crisis in the 1960's. Then the terrorist attack on liberty island when some the leaders of the world met for a peace conference,Along with other acts and public appearances. the United States finally accepted that mutants were around to stay.
Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. secretly Commissioned the X-Men to function in a capacity that many considered a paramilitary position. When a threat too big for the U.S. military take care of, the X-Men were called in to take care of the problem.
The X-Men haven't been the only ones being called in to duty when they were needed. Nick Fury, has started to gather a group of superpowered beings to form a government sponsored team. For the most part the X-men are an independent team. Nick Fury has been called in to activate the Avengers initiative.
There are many people out there that don't want peace between humans and everyone else.The Brotherhood is now on the loose and super powered threads growing. Armies bent on the destruction of civilization were on the rise. More groups take a stand to fight them back.
