Premise FAQ Cast Holds

Imagine ineffable power: the sun, stars and sky at your disposal. Imagine a life on high, surrounded by beauty and song (and some blood, because there is always blood). Imagine the sound of your own name as sacred, your likeness a holy object, temples built solely to praise your benevolence. Imagine all that waning with dawn of a new day, and the birth of a three-faced man-god whose worshipers soon outstrip your own. Imagine what you'd be willing to do if it meant keeping a grip on your own glory, and that of those which you loved best.

The mighty and endless Greek gods, compressed down into near-nothing. With Greece's decline and Rome's demise as the end-all to empires, an idea spread amongst the immortal. (Who thought of it first? Olympians? Protogenoi? Did it really matter?) The sanctity of their power might shrivel, but they would gather themselves up and bide their time. There was power left to them. They still had tales to tell.

And so time ticked on. The gods tended their little mortal gardens, choosing those most fit to coexist with. Some of them withered away into the aether. Others gave up on dreams of rising back to power. Others still refused to lie down and die, and more than a handful of them set up shop in the new Rome, New York City. Trite? Overdone? Oh, yes. But the gods are the gods, and the city burns with a familiar, comforting power. Their time is not yet over.

The Vessels is a sandbox-style game which takes the concept of Greek gods reincarnated into mortal bodies, and combines it with a deliberately loose moderating style. Tell the stories you've wanted, but never got around to. Clash against family, lovers, friends or foes. Write out the struggle of what happens when once-omnipotent immortals squat inside normal peoples' bodies. Know your characters, know your concepts, and go play.

Holds will be open to all oncomers starting July 27. Game starts on August 10.

WMHS is a Glee role play game that has been going strong for the last eight months and is looking to expand its talent base. If you are interested in writing with active, dedicated, funny and friendly people who love Glee and the characters associated with the show as much as you do, our small group may be right up your alley. We need: Sam Evans, Artie Abrams, Joe Hart, Mercedes Jones, The Warblers: Thad, David, Flint & Wes, Will Schuester, and Emma Pillsbury.

With the amazing success of The Glee Project, as well as our graduates heading in different directions, we are looking to grow in a more artistically freeing direction. If you enjoy writing original characters, try your hand at one of the Glee Project (past and present) cast members like SEASON I: Cameron Mitchell, Hannah McIalwain, Marissa von Bleicken, Matheus Fernandes, McKynleigh Abraham, Emily Vásquez, Ellis Wylie, Bryce Ross-Johnson and SEASON II: Nellie Veitenheimer, Charlie Lubeck, Tyler Ford and Dani Shay.

Or if you would like to explore something a little more challenging and meaty character wise, we are actively looking to fill the roles of: Chandler Kiehl, David Karofsky, Wade "Unique" Adams, Trevor Phillips, Harmony Pearce, Cassandra July, David Martinez, Sue Sylvester, Lauren Zizes, Shannon Beiste, Holly Holliday, & Carmen Tibideaux.

Our writers are all active, friendly, converse on aim, comment, participate in group chats & activities (currently we are writing the production of RENT) and scene regularly. Interested? Click here. We would love to have you!
