Our idea of a superhero has been crafted—molded since we were young. Just a click of the remote took a child to Superman, the very definition of the word. We saw him utilize his enhanced agility and strength to defeat the unethical schemes of Lex Luther, his arch-nemesis. When all was right, he ran to the shadows to become a common man named Clarke Kent. He then battled everyday evils, such as staplers, traffic jams, and the pain of unrequited love.

Though he was portrayed as a civilian, he was never considered one. He was always alien to us, as most well-known superheroes are.  It’s never an average man who's gone without a run-in with toxic fluids or bites from strange creatures who saves the day, but for these citizens that all changes...

Weekend Warriors' concept is strongly influenced by comics, television, and movies such as Scott Pilgrim, Kick Ass, and Heroes. It’s relaxed, character-driven, and allows for new sub-plots alongside the existing one.

In the land of Abenforth you are one of three kinds of people. You are Human and therefore better than everyone else. You are Dragon and looked down upon as filthy, scavenging lizard hybrids. Or you are Mystic and feared because you posses powers no one really understands. Whatever your race, you live in your own shire with your own kind unless you like sleeping with a dagger in your hands or you're incredibly foolish. Sure, there has been the semblance of tolerance among the three races but it is held together by a very tenuous thread. The Peacekeeper is the only man alive to be both Dragon and Mystic, born from Human parents. As long as he lives the lands will live alongside one another in harmony.

In the middle of the three townships is Redgrave Castle. While it has been generations since a true king has ruled over Abenforth there has always been a steward who was fair and kind. Until recently. When the previous man died of a mysterious illness and this new man, a Human who called himself Dervil, took his place there spread rumors far and wide of his corruption. Slowly the castle was filling with courtiers of all races and temperaments. Dervil's men, his knights, his lords and ladies all of questionable character. Many fear for the Peacekeeper who is kept inside the castle "for his own safety" and know that if he is lost a true war will begin until another Peacekeeper is found.

This is a brand new game so anyone you could want has a good potential to be open.
