High school: the best and worst of times - especially if you can move things with your mind, shoot fire from your fingertips, or lift up a car with one hand. Welcome to Tranquility, Pennsylvania, just another ordinary small town in a post-evolutionary world. Tensions are running high as, one by one, the powered students are outed and the anti-powered sentiment strengthens. It’s been thirty years since the Powered People’s Protection Act was passed, yet the world is still filled with discrimination and hatred, and in a small town like Tranquility, things don’t change unless you force them to. One thing is certain: revolution is coming, and sooner or later, everyone is going to have to choose a side.

THE NEXUS


Time and fate. Two powerful forces separate but always influencing one another. It can force people a part or bring them together. It can destroy, it can heal. It can ruin people's lives or fix them. One decision influences another, forever changing the course of history, constantly presenting new What Ifs?

So then, what if these two factors could be merged? What if someone from one time could be reunited from someone from another? What if one person who made one decision can be by the side of someone who made another?

It is not a matter of just thinking, because it is here.

These what if worlds, these new dimensions, are all in one place. Imagine a Voldemort who was raised by Merope, an Andromeda who was never able to fully escape her family, a Harry who was never the Boy Who Lived, a Hermione who was born a boy or a Draco who only ever knew a world where Voldemort was in charge. What is more, imagine if all of these competing individuals, eras and dimensions were pulled into one place and started to interact.

RESUMPTION: a life interrupted to begin again
A Harry Potter RPG

Post the Second Wizarding War, many are content to go forward with their lives. Some aren’t however. Augustus Rookwood is one of those not happy in this world and the former death eater begins to make plans to make his own world, his ideal world.

Taping into dark and forbidden magic that will bend both dimension and time, Rookwood begins collecting the citizens for this new world. Wizard and witches of his choosing who are not merely from the era he comes from, but others-both ancient and into distant future. Whether these wizard and witches want to live in this world isn’t his concern.

There are so many questions though. Where is this place? What day is it? What country are they in? Why are there others that they don’t know or recognize but who know intimate details about their lives? This world is full of mysteries about the village and... experiments keep appearing out of nowhere.

You are at the mercy of the council.

Like every year, young witches and wizards all over Britain prepare themselves for their return to Hogwarts. This time, however, everything feels different. The year is 1998, and the last time they saw their school a battle was taking place: the great Battle of Hogwarts that saw Voldemort fall and where so many others, family and friends alike, also lost their lives. The wizarding world might be in ruins, but it's nothing compared to the school and to the students that survived. How will the recent events affect them? Will they find absolution for what they did?

Absolution is a post-DH game, starting August 1998. It focuses on the rebuilding of the wizarding world through the eyes of the students of Hogwarts and how they deal with the rebuilding of their school and the memories of what happened the previous year. Muggleborns try to return to the lives they had a year before. The children of Voldemort's supporters try to deal with the new stigma that befell them. Those who fought at the Battle try to cope with what they experienced. And everyone tries to mourn their losses and move forward.
