Will of its Own
Created with love and devotion, she was a city of beauty and splendor. She was given so much love and devotion by her creator that he sparked a life of her own inside every stone of every building and every leaf of every tree. He had promised her she would be filled with the masses growing and teeming with life. That dream never came to be, though. Death claimed her creator before he finished that which would bring them to live inside her.
Years brought neglect and disrepair to her beauty. Her sentience ripped asunder and now fragmented from being left alone with only her thoughts to sustain her. It was a desperate call that began the pull that drew them all to her...
