Tuesday night meant it was time to head to Tap That like always. After her shift at the salon, she headed to the apartments to do a quick wash up and make sure that she and Paige got to work by six or six thirty the latest. Knox was understanding about Everly's schedule always cutting it close in between both jobs. Since Paige had texted everyone about her ex husband possibly being in the area, everyone was taking turns making sure she was never left alone for any reason at all. Everly constantly felt like she was being watched and it made her hair stand up on it's ends. Inside her car, she kept her Louisville baseball bat under her seat just incase it was needed. Being raised by a military father always kept Everly prepared. She may always look like she's not paying attention, but that's the furthest from the truth.
After they got in the car and attempted to head to the bar, Everly just had a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach about something, but she didn't voice it as to not alarm Paige if it simply was nothing. Everly's intuition was usually not off, but for some reason the thought of today being odd just kept nagging her terribly as she got closer to Tap That. Everly's phone was on the dashboard hanging by the clip because the two were listening to the bluetooth on their way in just jamming to some tunes to help get their mood up.
With Everly having an Iphone, she was able to talk to Siri at voice command which was always a plus when sometimes dialing took up too much time. Parking into their usual spot near the back of the building because that's usually where they exited for the night to head home, she heard someone come up to Paige's door and attempt to open it and immediately she grabbed her bat and called out "Siri call Sterling!" Siri dialed Sterling's number but the woman couldn't talk and allowed him to hear what was going on while yelling "Outside Sterling...come outside!" She said and with Everly being only five foot one, she had no problem yielding a bat. "You are NOT going to touch her or take her ANYWHERE!" Everly got out and swung her bat at Darren's hands which made him let go of the door and Everly shouted "Paige lock the door now!" Hearing the sound of cracking fingers let Everly know she hit him dead on as he cursed her loudly "You FUCKING bitch!" Darren yelled and turned his attention to Everly which is what she wanted.
Inside of the bar Sterling felt his phone go off and seen Everly's number, and since she never called him, he quickly picked up with a 'Hello?" Hearing the commotion outside and the ruffled noise of what was going on and the voices, he immediately ran outside and saw the commotion going on and stood to the back of it watching out of sight so Darren couldn't see him. Everly had his attention with her bat and the main thing Everly wanted was for Paige to get to safety. Sterling just watched to make sure Darren didn't attempt to get to Everly or turn his attention back to Paige. Liam on the other hand was driving home from work and had to pass Tap That on his way to the apartments. Turning his attention to look at the bar, he spotted the situation going on and turned his car into a near by lot across the street and ran over to open Everly's car door in an attempt to carry Paige on the inside of the bar to safety. "Climb over to this side" He told her through the door and hoped she would so he could attempt to get her into the bar through the back door.
