Faith was always happiest in the company of a handsome man. She felt bad she couldn't remember him, but all this jumping from one place to another, well names and places blurred. It was as if every time she went somewhere different her mind was clean slated. Maybe it was a different Faith, if one believed in those things.
She wasn't going to worry about it she was going to have a good time.
Faith arrived first, Cash knew the town and suggested a local bar that had good food and even better drinks.
Walking in the door, she scanned the place looking for a place to sit. She chose a table where she could watch both exits.
She ordered a gin and tonic and waited for Cash.
"Here I thought I'd been stood up," she teased as Cash joined her at the table.
