How sweet and sensitive! I really like the focus on Severus' watching Harry (and Harry watching Severus watch him!) and how because he had always watched him, he sees things that others miss.
This so resonates with how I imagine Harry feeling at the end of DH: It seemed that everyone around him had pushed aside the war and plunged determinedly into normality. Harry often wondered if that was the root of his problem, he'd never known normality so maybe that was why he felt so adrift, so lost.
You really show how much Harry responds to someone prioritizing his needs, after having put them below those of the rest of the wizarding world for most of his life.
