for the Phoenix Files Drabble-a-thon

Ginny stood uncharacteristically still as the witch in blue took her measurements. She was a Holyhead Harpy, she was getting a uniform and a salary and a Limited Edition Quaffle. She'd made it through the tryouts. She'd done something not driven by Harry, or her mum, or her brothers, or anyone else.

"Weasley! Heads up!"

She ducked the Bludger, caught the measuring tape around her wrist before it choked her, and laughed.

The war might be over, but the World Cup was forever.
