Phantasos

[ Subaru was busy investigating her new surroundings, skating up one street and down another. Her speed is low because she doesn't want to risk missing any details. Some sign, or TV broadcast, or publication that would tell her where she's ended up.

But there was nothing, and it was beginning to look grim. She has no clue how she ended up on this world, much less where she was, and how she was going to get out of here. It was just her and her partner, but no one around to hear her thoughts. ]

This is too weird. The city is so... empty. [ Empty and uncomfortable; but she can't show it on her face. ]

[ A female voice -- not quite digital, but definitely with an artificial echo to it -- rings out; a gemstone on Subaru's inline boots blinking as it does so. ] «It will be okay. We will find a way.»

Mm! [ Subaru nodded. ] We can't give up yet, Mach Caliber.
