Thankfully she'd found someone else who had an iPhone and the right charger for the electrical outlet - though it was last minute and her phone hadn't charged very long. Still, she could probably get one emergency call in if she ran into trouble as she walked the few blocks to Kavoras.
As Astrid neared the bar, she hoped she didn't look too American. She certainly didn't blend in with the natives in her black dress that was kind of Grecian-inspired. Kind of. That and her heels were.. well let's just settle with expensive. Her hair looked perfect, as usual, and she smelled faintly of roses even though she hadn't put any perfume on today. She didn't wear make-up, save for a little mascara every once in a while. So really, the only thing in her small handbag was her phone, keycard for the hotel, and a small portable mace baton. Hey a girl couldn't be too careful..
She had no idea who this guy was or what he looked like. Heck for all she knew she could be meeting one of the cleaning staff from the hotel. Astrid was sure of one thing though, it wasn't a date. Just drinks. So she wasn't expecting much other than being unimpressed with both the setting and company. She didn't frequent bars or fancy lounges back in the states often out of personal taste, but also because of her reputation and the chance of seeing any clients. Finally entering the bar she paused by the doorway, glancing at the patrons -- her gaze stopped on a man sitting by himself, facing the doorway. Sure there were a few men who turned around to stop and stare at her, but they hadn't caught her attention like the other. Oddly enough, she had a certain deja vu feeling as she offered a polite smile as she approached.
Actually, she wasn't even sure if it was really the same guy, she was just going on gut feeling. He was handsome, of course, there was no denying that - but she could not remember where she saw him before. "Hi there," she greeted "that seat taken?" she asked, motioning to the booth cushion across from him.
