The buzz of alcohol was warm in his stomach, an almost permanent grin etched onto his face as the three men sat at the table, all connected by some unknown thread. Albeit, the thread between Jackson and Keiran was invariably stronger, but there was still something pulling at him from Sam's side of the table...
The absolute bliss on Jackson's face as he went to beat some sense into a couple drunks pleased Keiran, too. Anything that kept Jackson happy was enough to please Keiran as well.
While Jackson was gone, Sam and Keiran sat side by side, neither of them saying a word. While Keiran did yearn to figure out what exactly connected the two of them, he knew that he would have to return to work in a few minutes, and wouldn't be able to pay Sam due attention.
Standing as Jackson returned and Sam decided to leave, Keiran gave the latter a little salute, wishing him a good night before he traveled towards the bar. What and who exactly Sam was going to do tonight had Keiran rather curious, but it was best not to dwell on those thoughts, they only led down a strange, strange path.
He flashed Jackson another grin as the bouncer made his way towards the front of the bar, flexing all the while.
