If Jackson hadn't been walking away, Keiran would've patted his shoulder. The man was worrying over nothing, and Keiran couldn't help but do everything he could to make the man worry more. Why eluded him, it was just what he needed to do. A grin slid onto his face, “Don't worry – worrying isn't healthy, either,” he chided playfully, giving him a faux salute as he walked towards the door.
The grin nearly evaporated when Jackson, yet again, reminded him that the two of them needed to talk. Keiran wouldn't be particularly concerned except for the ominous way that Jackson kept saying it. It wasn't like he just wanted to chill and talk about whatever, he had something serious in mind...
If there was one thing that Keiran wasn't good at, it was being serious. He almost wanted to take his break and hide from whatever Jackson had to say to him, but he knew he'd rather deal with seriousness than miss a moment with the man that had so instantly become important to him.
