Dylan playfully grinned at Tayrn's comment. So she wanted to play like that, eh? Had Dylan been a better judge of character he might have picked up on the fact that Tayrn wasn't exactly interested in him. But, as it was, he was a cocky bastard. So, in Dylan's mind everyone wanted him, it was just a game to get them to admit that. Right now, Dylan would have said Tayrn was playing hard to get, and wanted him to chase her. He had plenty of fun chasing, and he was up for a challenge. It had been a while since he really had to work for any girl, and a challenge would be refreshing. Of course, there was never a moment he doubted that he would get her, in the end.
Glancing at the waiter, Dylan shrugged. The waiter was obviously getting upset Tayrn was taking a while, but that just meant he wasn't getting a very large tip.
Tayrn's next comment only pushed Dylan further. Unfortunately, Tayrn's words were just playing into Dylan's self-centered attitude. There was no way she didn't want him. Smirking at her, Dylan turned back to the waiter, "I'll take a double rum and coke." Dylan wasn't planning to try and outdrink her (Gods knew he could - she was tiny!), but he was defintely okay with trying to show her up. "She's not too easy either," Dylan said as he winked at the waiter. He saw that look cross the waiter's face 'what a sickening couple', and Dylan's heart fluttered.
Strange, but Dylan was starting to get used to it.
Handing the menu to the waiter, Dylan looked back at Tayrn. "So Tayrn, why are you in Athens? Holiday or business? Or are you looking for some gorgeous rich man to marry?" Dylan inquired, with a teasing air to his voice. He was actually very interested in why she was here, and everything else she said. Which was odd, because Dylan hardly ever took real interest in any girl or woman.
