The annoyance, the anger that rolled off of the man was a tangible thing, even with her back turned to him. Even as she strolled away as if he were nothing. The joy she got from that simple emotion brought a silly grin to her face as she passed by a tank full of fish, drawing her fingers along the glass. The fish, instead of swimming away like they should have, were attracted to the fingers that she held against their barrier.
She most always got that reaction from underwater creatures. She didn't so much get the angry reaction the man was giving, but for some reason, she'd known he'd act like this.
As he calmed down behind her, she took another step forward, watching the fish dance around in the tank for a chance to be closest to her fingers. She didn't even glance back as she heard him moving, instead startled to have him pop up on the other side of her. She fix the slightest of glares onto her face. “As much as I would love to take a few of these beautiful little creatures home. I don't think they would survive the plane ride.”
Truly, she did want to have a few fish around. Since she'd left her home, she lacked the interaction with beautiful sea creatures. With a sigh, she dropped her hand, regarding him with a lofted brow. He was stuttering like the pimpliest of nerds asking out the prom queen. She took the compliment of 'attractive' for what it was, an easily tossed around word that he used when trying to please a woman he was attempting to bed.
Still, she managed a brilliant grin. “Do you normally come on so strong, too? Offer to close up your place of business just so that you could catch another moment with all the attractive women you've met?” She asked, rather sarcastically. This time she showed no intention of leaving or ignoring him, she just wanted to barb him a little.
