Poseidon was absolutely furious. How dare he, that backstabbing bastard, Poseidon thought. Anger was written all over his face, and anyone could vouch that it really was not a good time to speak with him. His heavy build came barreling out of the hall as he furiously muttered obscenities under his breath. Curling his hands into fists, Poseidon stood outside and looked up. The bright sun infuriated Poseidon even more, and he tightly curled his right hand around his trident. Roaring, he used the trident to strike the ground, and instantly an icy salt-water spring erupted from the ground.
Poseidon had just witnessed his brother, Zeus, courting and seducing a particularly gorgeous woman. A scene not all that unusual, it was a little questioning as to why Poseidon was so visibly upset. What onlookers didn't know, was the fact Poseidon had just, hours earlier, mentioned, obsessed, and gushed about his attraction to the same woman. Zeus had listened intently and even offered advice. And then, obviously, he had gone behind Poseidon's back and chased the girl instead. Not knowing how to control his anger, Poseidon shoved his face in the spring, in an attempt to cool himself off.
When it came to girls and women, Poseidon had no bounds. Be they young teenagers, family, monsters, mortals, or even animals - Poseidon rarely cared. He lived and breathed for sex, and that was shown through his multitude of children. Often, Poseidon and Zeus had lusted after the same woman, but never at the same time. They both had similar ways to seducing a woman, and Poseidon did not have any restraints about forcing a woman into sex. In fact, there were quite a few of his children conceived from rape.
Betrayal was the one thing Poseidon could not handle. First, Zeus had placed restrictions on them, and demanded they simply sit there and let worshipers come to them. This had infuriated Poseidon, who was grumpy and fed-up with losing his worshipers to Christianity and Judaism and all the others. But now, Zeus had betrayed him, and Poseidon would not let that go. How dare he, Poseidon kept thinking. Now distracted by their previous conversation, Poseidon's spring died down.
*Disclaimer: Since there is no Zeus, this is a slight assumption, but I promise to make sure it's okay with the player of Zeus once we get one! (Made sure not to play Zeus in any way)
