The first piece will go up here in a few minutes, but first, I want to give love to all our amazing authors and artists this year; you are what make the fest worth running. One reminder: your gift will not be posted until you have turned in your own submission, so, those of you who are still working, the sooner you get it in, the sooner your gift might be posted! A word about comments: they are better than air to most authors and artists. We don't get paid for this; we do it because we love the characters and the fandom. Pre-signup Post/Rules Post Hey, Percyfans! Are you excited for the signups to start on Sunday? I know I am! So excited, in fact, that I'm putting up the signup template now so you can all start thinking about what you'd like to request and offer. This is NOT the sign-up post, however. That will be posted probably around midnight my time on Sunday. ( Sign-up template ) And what would a ficathon centered around everyone's favorite Head Boy be without a few rules? Here they are. I've figured out a schedule which I hope will work for everyone--it's slightly more compact than last year's, but still feasible, I think. Reveals at last! Under the cut are the reveals from this year's Percy Ficathon. Thank you all so very, very much for participating, watching, commenting, drawing, writing, and cheerleading! It was really a fantastic fest this year, with more than a few absolute gems produced. I will edit author/artist names into posts later today, but you can all go ahead and respond to comments now! If I've arsed up any of the links or names or titles or what-have-you, please do point out mistakes--I'm battling a wicked summer cold (and losing) and lucidity is hard to come by at the moment. I'm going to post the reveals in the morning, so if there are any pieces you missed in this year's Percy Ficathon, you've got about twelve hours to check them out (and, of course, to leave feedback for the mystery authors and artists) while they are still anon! I can't even express how much in love with all you Percy fans I am right now. From the fantastically amazing fic and art, to the myriad comments, to the emails and cheerleading and brainstorming sessions I was privileged to be a part of, to the outpouring of Percy love (and isn't that what this is all about?), this was a seriously impressive fest all around.
