I don't mind the lack of smut at all, Mystery Author, not when I'm getting such a sweet, funny and all-around adorably meaty fic like this!
I loved your Percy: such a wonderfully caring dad, and I was so happy to see him reconciled for reals with the rest of his family. The interactions between George, Ron and Ginny were wonderful to see. His uncertainty and attraction toward Neville was so well done! And matchmaker Ginny! And Freddy! And Neville! Still sweet, still a bit shy but not so shy he doesn't recognize a come-on line when he hears it? Priceless! I loved all the characters here.
I giggled all through the morning after when Freddy and George arrived, and the fact that Freddy already knew about the relationship and and and...Um, yeah, I really loved just about everything in the story!
And Neville's P.S. in Percy's last letter? Perfect. Pancakes are wonderful, especially for morning afters. I have to admit this was the line that made me crack up out loud:
Freddy rolled his eyes, but he was grinning. "Dad, I'm not stupid. But honestly, the next time I'm at home, I don't mind if he stays for pancakes. Isn't that the best part?"
