Percy Weasley was not ready to die. He had a report due to Undersecretary Umbridge, a prawn sandwich waiting on his desk, a department meeting at three, Morris Dancing at seven, and a pile of unfolded laundry sitting shamefully on his bed.
He could not die now.
Yet there was no doubt that escaped mass murderer Sirius Black was pointing a battered wand at his chest, the cold glint of evil in his grey eyes. Percy gulped. He was unarmed, defenseless. His death was imminent. Percy’s life flashed before his eyes (he certainly had spent a lot of time studying, and he really should have kissed a few more people) as he faced the cruel gaze of his killer.
“Do it quickly,” he said, closing his eyes and lifting his chin in what he hoped read as dignified acceptance. He breathed in (his last breath!) and squeezed his eyes shut. And waited.
A good-humored voice spoke. “Hang on, which Weasley are you then?”
Percy cracked open his eyes.
“Ah, Percy!” said a familiar voice. “Put your wand down, Sirius. Percy here is an excellent fellow. Top student as well.” A hand clapped him on the shoulder, drawing him into the flat, and Percy looked away from the cruel (but now smiling?) eyes of Sirius Black to the cheerful face of his former professor, Remus Lupin. “Did Sirius give you a scare? Didn’t your mum or brother tell you he was staying here?”
“No.” The blood was just starting to flow back into Percy’s brain as Professor Lupin spoke. “I haven’t…I’m not…” He stumbled over his next words, not wanting to admit that he hadn’t spoken to his family much in recent days.
“Er, sorry about that then. Don’t panic. Sirius here is an innocent man, Percy. He is staying with me and keeping a low profile until proper evidence is ready to be presented to the Ministry. Dumbledore is working on it right now.” Lupin’s voice was steady and calm, but Percy had his doubts. The man in front of him did not look at all innocent. Dark, brooding, and dangerous, more like.
“This is one of Arthur and Molly’s brood then?” asked Sirius Black, with a nod towards Percy. Something in the man’s dark gaze made Percy feel as inconvenient and insignificant as an ink splot.
“Yes. The third, I believe. Is that correct, Percy?” Professor Lupin was leading him into a small sitting room. “Have a seat.”
Percy focused long enough to brush some crumbs off the grubby sofa, sit down, and look up at Lupin. “Yes,” he said. “I’m the third.” His heart was slowing, but only slightly.
“What can I get you to drink, Percy?” Professor Lupin asked, walking towards a door that must lead to the kitchen.
Sirius Black had slouched into a chair across the room and leaned back, his legs spread wide and his dark gaze fixed on Percy. He was casually spinning his wand between two long fingers. Percy attempted to look anywhere but back at him.
“May I have an apple juice?” Percy called, his voice rather squeaky. Sirius Black snorted, and out of the corner of his eye, Percy caught a glimpse of his smirk.
From the kitchen, Professor Lupin shouted in reply. “No juice, I’m afraid.”
“Anything is fine then, sir.” Sirius Black shifted in his chair, and Percy couldn’t not look at him. Black was still staring. The man did not seem to have blinked since they sat down. Their eyes met for a moment, and then Percy turned to study the books resting on the arm of the sofa, feigning fascination, while his blood was roiling and an unnatural silence reigned. If Sirius Black wasn't going to kill him, Percy could not understand why he wouldn't stop staring at him. Through his confusion, he could not make sense of any of the book titles. Perhaps his glasses were dirty?
“Finding a good read, third Weasley?” Sirius Black’s voice was raspy and teasing.
Startled, Percy grabbed the top book from the stack, flipping it open to a random page. “Yes, actually.” It took him moment to realize the book was upside-down.
Sirius Black snorted again. "Good." He lowered his voice to a quiet purr. "So. How does Molly Weasley feel about having a queer son?" Black asked, just as Professor Lupin returned, holding three bottles of lager.
Percy's heart stopped.
“Sorry, Percy, it’s beer or nothing around here. And you do not need to call me ‘sir’ anymore.” Lupin handed a bottle to Black, who took a long pull, still keeping his gaze fixed on Percy.
Percy took one sip of the offered beer out of politeness, keeping his eyes on the carpet, mind whirling. How does he know? He was here on serious business, he needed to keep his head.
Professor Lupin took a seat on the other end of the sofa and sipped his own beer. “So, what can I do for you, Percy?” he asked. Lupin did not seem at all troubled by the intense gaze projecting at them from across the room.
Percy swallowed, then decided that one more gulp of beer wouldn’t hurt. “I…um…I’m here from the…I…” He stopped and cleared his throat to start again, trying to stay focused. “I’m here on behalf the Ministry of Magic to gather any information you may have about the lies being spread by Harry Potter and Albus Dumbledore.”
“What the fuck?” That was Sirius Black, who sat up, a dangerous spark in his eyes.
Percy stuttered in response. “I mean…well...the Ministry does not actually know I’m…here…so…” He glanced away from Sirius Black’s distressing glare and looked at Professor Lupin. “I just…my parents are saying…I don’t know what to think…I…I just need to understand what happened when Cedric Diggory died, and all of the bizarre rumours, and I thought you might know, sir.” He tried to gather himself together and reclaim his original intention for the visit, before he had been shocked into confusion by Sirius Black’s appearance.
Lupin sat up and calmly met Percy’s gaze. “I only know what Harry told Sirius and Albus, Percy. I have no reason to doubt that he is telling the truth.”
“Does this kid work for the fucking Ministry, Moony?” Sirius Black had leaned forward into the conversation, and Percy felt a little tingle of anger run through his body at being talked about as if he wasn't there.
“Well, yes, but he’s a good egg. He won’t do or say anything rash, will you Percy?” Professor Lupin gave him a hopeful smile.
“I don’t know why we should trust him,” Black continued. “He can’t even look at me.” Black took another swallow of beer before fixing Percy again with that piercing gaze. Percy's cheeks were suddenly blazing hot. “Unless...Look at him blush, Moony. Unless I’m creeping under your skin, Weasley number three?”
“Sirius, don't tease the lad,” Lupin said, with a slight edge to him voice.
“Don't tease? Why not? Doesn't he know I lust after tall, thin redheads?” Black’s voice was mocking and smooth. Percy felt his stubborn blush spread from his cheeks and down the sides of his neck.
“No, you don't,” Lupin said. He was using his strictest professor voice. “Sirius. You don't."
Sirius Black stood and strode towards Percy, ignoring Lupin entirely. Percy stared at his own feet, trapped in his seat by the flood of blood to his face and the unwanted erection now making a show of itself in his trousers.
“Oh shut it, Moony. How do you know it wasn't all I thought about in my years of imprisonment. Tall. Thin. Redheads." Black stopped right in front of Percy. "Look at the kid. He hasn’t been able to look me in the eye since he walked in. I imagine he is hiding a brilliant stiffy right now. Aren’t you, Percy?” Black approached Percy until their knees touched, and then leaned down, trying to force Percy to meet his eyes. “Being scared is a bit of a turn-on for you, is it?”
Percy swallowed, but couldn’t meet those grey, sunken eyes.
“Sirius, he used to be one of my students,” Lupin said, his voice steady and reasonable.
“He doesn't mind," Black continued, leaning closer, so that Percy could feel his warm breath on his face. "Do you? You're a sweet little fruit. Just trying to work it all out, are you?" Black pressed the heel of his hand against the growing bulge in Percy's trousers. Percy jumped, but didn't try to leave. How did the murdering maniac Sirius Black know every sodding thing about him? His body was in a full rebellion, stubbornly refusing to obey his mind, which was screaming at him to get up and run out.
Black turned to Remus. "Aww. Moony. Remember those days? Getting hard at a stiff breeze. Or a stray thought. Or..." He said this last bit right into Percy's ear, ..."when you were desperate to shag the bloke standing next to you, but scared shitless to admit it?"
"Those were good times. Ah. Youth."
Percy tried to keep his composure, but the hand at his crotch had started kneading at his bollocks, and his mind was having trouble following the drift of the conversation. He could hear the echoes of a bickering discussion between Professor Lupin and Black, something about, "...well, you won't do it for me anymore," and, "...imagine that. Perhaps I've grown up, Sirius," and, "...he's hard as a rock, Remus. Relax. Enjoy." By that point in the conversation, Black had managed to open Percy's flies and a warm, rough hand wrapped around his prick, and Percy lost all hearing to an ecstatic buzzing in his head, because oh buggering Merlin, this was the best feeling in the world.
He remembered he was supposed to breathe only when he instinctively drew in a gasp of pleasure and fear as Black's terrifying countenance dropped into his lap and that strangely smiling mouth sucked his cock in, hard.
"Sirius...fuck..." Professor Lupin's voice had changed in tone, and Percy turned his head to see that Lupin was watching the proceedings with horrified interest, his hand at his own flies. "Are you all right, Percy?"
Percy somehow managed to nod just before he was lost again to the sensation of Black's tongue circling the head of his prick and dipping into the slit of his cock, a bizarre feeling which made his entire body shake. Black's rough hand was fisting the base of Percy's prick in slow strokes as he sucked and licked. Percy looked down to observe what was happening to him, slowly sliding down on the sofa until his back was almost flat on the seat and his glasses had tilted on his nose and his knees were shaking trying to hold himself up. He couldn't look away, the slightly out-of-focus sight of his own, long, thin prick disappearing into this man's mouth so intensely right, he could hardly keep from coming at the thought.
"He's going to shoot a load down my throat, Moony," Black said, and the vibrations of his voice on Percy's prick were fireworks of sensation. "Are you ready?"
Percy was able to turn his eyes to the other end of the sofa once more, just long enough to see that his respected professor had opened his jeans and was fisting his own cock at a ridiculous pace, his mouth hanging open and eyes fixed on Percy's body.
"Yes," Lupin hissed, and Percy looked back down just as Black took him all the way in, down his throat, and Percy arched up on the sofa at the shock of it. He felt the rush of climax start in his bollocks and then heard his own voice, in the distance, crying out something, and then he was coming in jolting spasms down Sirius Black's (Sirius Black's!) throat. Black pumped and sucked until Percy couldn't stand the agony of sensation anymore, his cock softening in Black's mouth and hand.
Without warning, Black let him go, stood up, and moved onto his knees on the sofa, one leg on either side of Percy's prone body. Black's red, weeping prick was jutting out of his robes at Percy's eye level, and he was jerking himself hard, looking down at him.
"I'm going to come in your blushing little face, third Weasley," he said, and Percy heard Lupin moan at the other end of the sofa, and fuck, Percy wanted nothing more than Black's hot come all over him so he nodded and opened his mouth wide and Black let out another of his knowing snorts and a short barking laugh and his fist was flying over his prick and then he threw his head back and came. Globs of sticky spunk landed on Percy's cheeks and chin and dripped onto his chest, and one drop landed on the lens of his glasses and made it hard to see. From the sounds at the other end of the sofa, Lupin was coming as well, and Percy felt it was just as well that his vision was too blurred to take in the sight of his respected mentor coming all over his own hand.
He didn't mind hearing the sounds Lupin was making, however.
Then there was no sound in the room for a few moments except the ragged breathing of the three men.
Sirius eased backwards off the sofa first, and Professor Lupin must have stood and quickly zipped up, because when Percy looked up, they were both fully dressed and standing in the center of the room looking down at him.
"Harry doesn't tell lies," Sirius Black said, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.
Percy scrambled to sit up. "How do you know? How do you know anything? Perhaps I'm going to go right now and tell the Ministry exactly where you are!" Percy said, still breathless and tingling, but now also deeply embarrassed and struggling to regain some level of dignity while his trousers were around his thighs and his face was covered in spunk.
"Well, then I'd be forced to explain in intimate detail what just happened here. I don't suppose you want your Ministry cronies to know about all this, Weasley the third?" Sirius reached down and wiped blobs of come off of Percy's glasses and cheek with his thumb. In a whispered voice he added, "Besides, this can't ever happen again if I'm a soulless blob, and you wouldn't want that, would you?"
With a wink, Sirius Black turned around, grabbed his beer, and walked off into the kitchen. Percy watched him go.
Professor Lupin was crouched next to the sofa. "Erm...Sorry about all that, Percy."
Percy shook his head and straightened his robes. "I have a meeting to get to, sir." Umbridge did not tolerate lateness.
Lupin smiled. "Of course." Lupin's voice was quiet. "You won't tell, will you Percy? He's not a murderer."
Percy looked at the trusting face of his professor and nodded. He didn't know what he was going to do.
Then Lupin added, with a touch of good humor. "Next time you might want to owl before you pay us a visit."
Percy stared at him. "Yes, sir. Good idea, sir," he muttered, but his mind was playing Next time? over and over again. Then he ran for the door before his professor could see the blush of longing that had started to creep up his chest.
Perhaps he wouldn't tell after all. And then...next time...
