The glitz, the glamor, and the dark things that go "bump" in the night. These creatures had always lived beside us, in secret, in the shadows until recently when vampires began to push for more publicity. They came "out of the coffin," so to speak, and since then the struggle for survival has been on the rise by supernatural creatures, while other supernatural beings have been coming out to the public. The supernatural world, despite how unknown it was among most naive mortals, was, for the longest time, at peace. species never bothered other species, and mostly, they kept to themselves. Unfortunately, peace can only be kept for so long, until one small crack causes their walls to come tumbling down. Recently, a body had been found by the beach, and though a murder isn't something that might normally shake up the supernatural world as much as this one did, it seems as though this murder was different. Lately, more bodies have been turning up with noticeable fang marks on the victim's neck. their skin, pale and white, and their blood drained. Clearly, it was the work of the vampires, wasn't it? But, what about the mangled bodies in the woods, or the sudden rise of disappearances? Clearly, something is at play, and it's beginning to shake both worlds. Trista here (PB: Jennifer Lawrence) is bisexual, but enjoys women and men equally. Her love interest is the opposite of her: shy, lesbian, unsure of herself and nerdy. Trista is the type of woman who goes for what she wants and gets what she wants, which is this other woman. The other woman, while not being confident in herself and not used to dating beautiful women that can pass for straight, not only is shy about it all, but the fact that Trista is bisexual is a source of contention. While trying to hunt on her own, her werewolf joined her instead as an unconventional partner. While away from home, Robyn finds out that her father and two of her brothers were murdered by a demon that has plagued their family for years. Her youngest brother has been taken, and Robyn is desperate to avenge her family and rescue her brother. Definitely long term with investigation, hunting random beasties (we can discuss the different supernatural elements to include), and develop the relationship between them.
