a grimdark fantasy roleplay
PREMISE
It was in the cold of winter that the houses of Basilia and Volkov made a pact for their daughter of House Basilia and the son and heir to House Volkov would marry, thus uniting the houses and forming an alliance between the countries of Prospemeria and Stryla. An agreement was made and celebrations were in order, but first the princess was to meet with House Volkov, and though the journey across the sea was dangerous and would take a month at the longest, both families were optimistic about the prospect of an alliance. though they knew the journey across the sea would be a month long perilous trek, no one could have predicted the fierce storm that dashed the ship into the jagged coast of Stryla. There were no survivors. When word reached house Basilia that their daughter never arrived, they were devastated. Immediately, blame was pointed towards House Volkov, and suspicions rose that perhaps the noble Strylan house might have murdered her in cold blood. Tensions were high, but it wasn’t until a dragon from Prospemeria crossed the border, doing damage to their forests with its fire and causing damage to their territory by an out of control forest fire that the tension rose to a boiling point and war was officially declared.

Where is this train going? Your guess is as good as anyone else!

Upon inspection of your new living quarters, you will find a note in the cabin that advises that you have been given a trip of a lifetime (quite literally)! Your every want and need will be taken care of! There will be no way off of the train except for when it makes random stops in various towns, times and even galaxies!

Sweetwater, Tennessee. It might seem like just any other small town, but there is more to this little town than meets the eye. It's the home to two of the oldest magical families.

First, there is the Jenson coven; a family of witches that have lived in the mountains of Tennessee for over 300 years, tracing their roots back even further.

Secondly, there is the Barney family; a pack of werewolves that are the relative newcomers to the area, only being there around 100 years, but like the witches, they can trace their heritage back longer.

The town is very peaceful and well protected from other magical creatures or at least it has been so far...

The two families work together to keep the town safe and thriving. Any loners that come into town are quickly informed of the rules and who is in charge, and most of the humans in town are blissfully unaware of who they share their town with.

Castmates wanted for Open Plains characters.

Wonder Woman would like other DECU castmates such as Superman, Batman, Aquaman. Marvel characters wanted for May, Tony, and Peter.

Sookie Stackhouse would love an Eric for romantic lines. Tara and Pam would be great as friendships for Eric when we get one, and friendships for Layfatte, Jessica, and Jason.

Buffy Summers requests a Spike for a romantic line. Any of the Scooby gang would be appreciated for Buffy, Faith, and Angel.

Jean Grey, Wolverine, and Havoc would like more X-Men for friendships, particularly Storm.

Elena and Damon want their friends from Mystic Falls particularly Caroline, Bonnie, and Stefan.

Will you survive the island?

People were coming in from all different times and worlds, and they had to adjust to living on the island because there was no way back to their homes. But no one truly knows all of the horrors the island holds. There are many abandoned buildings, and the only one which is "safe" to live in is the hotel itself. Some of the earliest wayward travelers cleaned it up and made it livable. But there were several disappearances during this time and the missing were never found.


Now the hotel has been modernized and a whole new group of people have shown up. Will they survive the island? Or will they mysteriously disappear as so many others have? Only time will tell.

Will you survive the island?

Humanity has finally understood what the Precursors' ultimate plan is: to inhabit all worlds. All realities. They had decimated worlds before, wiped out entire galaxies. And if humanity were going to lose ground here, it wasn't just their world that was at risk. Not anymore. They just had the chance to hold the line for the entire multiverse, for all of reality.

The Global Council gave Marshall Shida the authority to activate the Reaper Device, which began puncturing holes in space and time, creating smaller fissures that were large enough for a single human to fall through. People from other worlds, other places, to help in the biggest fight of all time.

The clock has been reset, ticking down to the next Kaiju attack. Production has been ramped up as much as is physically possible in whatever factories stand, Jaeger parts being shipped to the Hong Kong Shatterdone as soon as they are ready to be assembled into new Jaegers. Fissures have started opening, concentrated in the open bay in the Shatterdome - as much as is possible - and an Entry Team stands by to attend any identified pulses to brief the newcomers on where they are, what has happened and to give them a communication device to access the ShatterNet.

As Marshall Shida said, Ladies and Gentlemen, of all worlds and times, we are reality's last hope. Let us begin.
