John glanced at the woman beside him. She looked a little out of place, dressed the way she was. "Newbie," he stated, "guilty as charged." He offered a quirky little smile. He wasn't flirting, not at all. Mary was here, and whatever difficulties they were having adjusting to their new home, he loved her completely.
"Honestly," John admitted, looking down at the drink in his hand, "I'm a bit overwhelmed. More than a bit. More like entirely," He felt like he was standing on his head, and everything was upside down. He wasn't sure which end was up, anymore.
He shook his head, and looked up at Charlie, something of an apologetic smile touching his lips. "Sorry. I'm John. John Winchester."
