Faith was in a good mood as she was leaning against the counter, her hips were swaying back and forth as she was laughing at something the serve had said. She had been out most of the night, hanging with one amusing Dean Winchester, who had impressed her in the short time they had spent drinking together.

She wasn't even sure how or who decided they should get some burgers, but there they were ordering a bunch of hamburgers, which was glad for since she was starving. Her eyes slid beside her, checking out Dean. He was a little shorter then she thought he would be, but he carried himself well, not to mention had a sexy swagger about him. Faith chucked up the attraction to them drinking and it had been awhile since Faith actually had any kind of fun, she was loving her idea of taking the weekend off.

As they waited on their order, Faith hand was tapping the counter top along with whatever song was playing on the radio. "You know what," she said as she straighten her body, leaning her hip against the counter now, "We should do this again....some day." Suddenly a order came up and she grabbed one of the burgers, unwrapped it, taking a bite out of it as her free hand grabbed a tray so she could find them a place to eat.

Days passed strange in a place that didn't seem to be connected to anything except itself. The time there wasn't reliant on news reports or papers and the radios didn't have DJs cracking jokes about the previous night's entertainment. All that seemed to matter was the Mandalay, its people, its happenings, yet no one appeared to be recording any of it for the sake of posterity or whatever and damn, was he really going down the Man of Letter Lane or what?

Grabbing the drinks they'd gotten with their burgers, Dean rolled his eyes at Faith, "Yeah, yeah, I can tell you're desperately disappointed with my company. Don't even lie. You know I'm your favorite drinking buddy now. Who introduced you to the magic that is the Purple Nurple, huh? That's real friendship right there."

He followed her over to a table, eyes fixed more on her ass than the tray of food she carried which said a lot more about her attributes than it did about anything else. There wasn't a lot that Dean Winchester liked better than a good burger. Faith was worth noticing.

"I say we make it a regular habit. We might want to add a little activity to our plans if we intend to become regular gluttons though."

Dean moved to slide into one side of the booth as he waited on her response.

Faith smiled at that, "I think I can work that and this into it," she finished off the hamburger as she sat down across from him, "No too sure if you can keep up with me though, I'm the gift who keeps on giving."

Reaching over she snatched up a drink, sipped from it, "Doesn't like one of those hotels have an amusement park or something," she said before reaching for another burger, "I so want to do that, been forever since I did something normal, other then drinking and eating."

She took a big bite, leaned back in the booth, her eyes watching him and she found herself smiling at him. "Scared of heights?"

"I don't get a lot of gifts who keep on giving anything I want so I'll take that challenge. Easy."

Dean took a burger, moaning as the flavor exploded in his mouth from the first bite. It was literally one of the best burgers he'd ever had which was saying a lot since Dean had ordered burgers in every state in the continental. He thought it was possibly better than what he could make at home even and he'd spent more than a little time learning how to cook the perfect burger for his tastes.

It was the simple pleasures that made life worth living.

Washing down half his sandwich with his drink, he cleared his throat, "Heights, no. Planes? Yes. I hate planes. I hate flying. It's unnatural for people to fly. If we were meant to fly, we'd have been given wings. I deal with enough unnatural badness without going looking for more of it. This is---well, this is the longest break I've gotten from the game in too long to think about. I done nothing but fight, bleed, and die, rinse and repeat, for as long as I can remember. I think food is my one guaranteed pleasure. Can't go wrong with a good burger and a cold beer, can you?"

"Eh, beers okay," Faith retorted with a one shoulder shrug, but then she started to laugh, "you must really hate flying." She chuckled a little, "I hope you never have to go overseas, one hell of a flight, unless you get to fly on a private jet, which was epic cool, I slept most of the way though." Faith frowned at that, but then grabbed another hamburger, groaned softly, "English food sucks, one thing I did miss about being in the states."

She grabbed her drinks, took another swing, her eyes met with his for a moment, "so...what are you doing after this?" Faith prompt before taking another bite of her food.</blockquote>

There was no such thing as 'okay' beer in Dean's book. It was practically the nectar of the gods when it came cold enough. He liked it cold enough to nearly give him a brain-freeze. There wasn't a lot that could beat it for him.

An evening in with his brother. Talking to Cas about the angel's opinion on the world. Pie.

The list of things that made life worth living was pretty short for Dean Winchester.

"I do. Hate flying," he clarified around the last of a burger, "It's the worst thing in the world for me. I'll take a fight with any ugly freak from Hell over a flight anywhere any time."

He didn't really have plans for a change.

That was a strange realization for Dean to come to as he tried to picture his schedule. There wasn't a case to be worked except for how to get out of the place that seemed pretty much inescapable and no one had been injured yet which meant they were safe enough for the present.

Shrugging a shoulder, Dean offered, "I don't know. No plans. You?"

"Got it, no flying for you," Faith nodded her head as she ate more of her burger And then she smiled and shook her head no, "Ditto, to be in the city if sin, not much going on." She reached for the beer, taking a longer sip.

Sitting the cup down, she smirked at him, "specking of being in the city of sin." Faith waggled her brows are him, she was teasing, "we should go do something wild...not flying though, since clearly you don't like that."

She laughed as she finished her hamburger and reached for another one.

Dean had been on the No-Fly List for basically his entire life. It was an odd fear since his dad hadn't ever had any particular problem with it and Sammy sure as Hell didn't mind. They had never been in a plane crash or even witnessed one that traumatized him.

He just liked having both feet on the ground. That was all.

Dean worked at his second burger after finishing his first beer. It had been one of those nights where he deserved to chase it all down with burgers and beer. They had put in a decent night. There was nothing wrong with following up a decent night with a good meal.

Smirking at her, he asked, "What kind of wild did you have in mind? I have to say that I'm not too sure I want to try to keep up if you're feeling too frisky. You never know what this place is going to throw at us so if your idea of wild is climbing the outside of the hotel to get a good view of the lay of the land from the roof? I'm up for using the elevators and you can meet me up there."

"If I was feeling too frisky, I wouldn't climb walls," Faith rolled her eyes at him, "I'd climb you." She took a bite of her hamburger, thinking about it, "I don't know...there's a lot to do, but really seem tame." She picked up her cup, sipping from it, then sat it back down.

Faith debated this for a moment, "what are you in the mood for?" Faith asked as she sat her hamburger down, "really if you could do anything in the whole city, what would you want to do?"
