Skye had a lot on her mind lately. She was so grateful that Coulson was safe here, but back home he was in real trouble. What if he got sent back? Would he return to that? She didn't really want to think about that too much. It would not be a good thing at all. It would be better if the team came here. Skye missed them, and it seemed like they'd mostly forgiven her for what she'd done. They still didn't know the reason, though. Would she tell them if they did show up? She wasn't sure. Coulson knew now, here. He had been from before. That whole thing was confusing. Skye was coming back from a walk. Sometimes it was nice to just get out of the hotel. And she wanted to see the damage at New York, New York for herself. The explosion had been terrifying, and she really hoped no one was hurt. And she was concerned about people thinking Lee had been responsible. She could never see him doing something like that. Lee was a good guy, and Skye had basically come to view him as a little brother. If anyone stepped forward and accused him, she'd defend him. She'd even find a way to prove his innocence. That was what she did. And of all the people here, she was the closest to him. He was the first friend she'd made, when it was just her here. She headed towards the elevator, eager to get back up to her room. She considered stopping by Starbucks though, she might need a pick me up. She didn't feel like she slept well here. She always just had too much on her mind. And she was kind of groggy now. She hoped the person who had bombed the other casino would be caught before anyone was hurt. This place just didn't make any sense at all. |
