Skye thought he had the right idea about that. If they were all going to be here for awhile, it was important to get to know who they were stuck there with. They had no idea how long this was going to last. And even if people were determined to get out of here, that didn't mean it was something that would happen easily. Skye knew they had to face the reality that they could be here for awhile. They could hope they got out of here soon, but that didn't mean they actually would.
"Well, I'm sorry you can't be with him now." Skye said, sincerely. It was terrible for a nice kid like Lee to be trapped here. They really had no idea what could happen. This could have been a giant and elaborate trap of some kind. Skye tried not to think about it too much, it made her head hurt. But whoever was behind all this, they could mean them harm. There was no way to know for sure, not right now. It was probably best not to worry about it too much. That was easier said than done, of course.
"I guess all we can do for now is try and enjoy the party, but be alert to any potential dangers." Skye offered. She surprised herself. She was starting to sound like Ward. Except the enjoying the party part. It didn't really seem like Ward enjoyed much of anything. Except maybe Battleship. Other people would probably arrive soon, and they could kind of mingle. It'd be nice. And maybe someone might have a method they could try to get out of here. Probably wishful thinking, but she couldn't help it.
