Rock Lee, Skye & OTA ; The Party; 7 pm (on the dot)
"I cannot say that I have ever done much for Halloween before," Lee answered, shrugging a little. "But it seemed like a good idea to meet people, at least." Since they were stuck here. He would have tried his hardest not to dwell on that thought, but she must have noticed something in his expression when he mentioned Gai-sensei, because she asked about him.
"I do," Lee admitted, his smile fading for the first time. "He is more than just my squad leader. He was the first person who ever believed in me, and he has become more like a father to me than teacher." Perhaps he had said too much. Their village was hidden for a reason, after all. Shinobi were not supposed to be open about what they did, after all. Still, everyone here was in the same boat, and he could not help people if he hid what he was.
Nor could he reasonably explain wanting to challenge people to fights, without looking like some sort of belligerent jerk. So maybe it would not be a bad thing to tell people that he was a ninja. After all, other people were talking about what they did, or were, back home. He would have to think about that, first. Normally, he would have asked Gai-sensei for advice about what to do, but that was unfortunately not an option.
